Chennai, October 10, 2026: TEAM Educational Institution celebrated the achievements of 700 graduating students at its 23rd Convocation Ceremony, held at Anna Centenary Library Auditorium, Kotturpuram, Chennai. The event brought together 2,000 attendees, including graduating students, their family members and invited guests, to mark an important milestone in the graduates’ journey towards careers in education. Mr. Felix Gerald, Chairman, Tamil Nadu State Minorities Commission, graced the occasion as Chief Guest and presented certificates to the graduates in the presence of Mrs. Anna Steffi Felix, Co-Founder & Principal, and Mr. Felix Michael, Co-Founder & Director, TEAM Educational Institution.
For over a decade, TEAM Educational Institution has supported women through Montessori teacher training, practical skill development and employment guidance. According to the institution, more than 8,000 women have completed its training programmes, with over 6,500 securing employments. These outcomes reflect its continued focus on helping women build professional identities and contribute to their families’ financial well-being.
The institution works with women from varied backgrounds, including homemakers, those returning to work after a career break and aspiring teachers whose education was interrupted by family responsibilities. Its programmes combine teaching methodologies and Montessori material practice with communication skills, classroom management and interview preparation. Internship support and placement assistance further help students prepare for opportunities in the education sector.
Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Anna Steffi Felix said, “Education has the power to transform not only an individual but an entire family. Many of our students have balanced their studies with personal and family responsibilities to pursue their dreams of becoming teachers. This convocation celebrates their determination, hard work and the families who supported them. We hope their achievements inspire more women to pursue education and build independent, fulfilling careers.”
Mr. Felix Michael said, “Our aim is to help women turn their learning into meaningful employment. Through practical teacher training, interview preparation and placement assistance, we support them in building careers that strengthen their families and contribute to children’s education. Every graduate stepping into a classroom carries the opportunity to make a lasting difference.”
The ceremony recognised both the graduates’ academic achievements and the support of their families throughout their learning journey. It concluded with the presentation of certificates to 700 graduates, celebrating their readiness to take the next step as trained educators.
