Chennai, 24th December 2019: COLORS Tamil’s biggest and most enthralling game show, Kodeeswari, hit the small screens starting from today 8:00 PM onwards. The first episode was a nail-biting one packed with emotions, suspense and joy. Evergreen actress Radikaa Sarathkumar kick-started the iconic show by introducing 10 inspiring women contestants from across Tamil Nadu, who had made it to the first episode after rigorous screening process. Among other interesting profiles, there was aspiring IFS officer, a PT teacher and a News Reader.
The “Miss Minal” (fastest finger first) round asked the contestants to rearrange famous Tamil phrases which included an MGR old song and a Tamil patriotic song. Tirupur’s Valli Kannu, a 33 year old, MBA gold medallist currently working as Administration Coordinator in a CBSE school, was the first contestant to make it to the Hot Seat. Valli’s dream is to foster personality development among children and mould them into job-equipped individuals.
Valli Kannu played fairly well and went on to clear the first two segments of the game show, winning Rs 3,20,000. When she was asked about MP Narendra Modi’s “Howdy Modi” event, she entered the safe zone and went for the ‘Ask an Expert’ option. After giving the right answer (Texas), Valli Kannu expressed her dream of taking her kids to USA on a vacation.
Valli Kannu is a big fan of Actor Vijay and spoke with Radikaa about the Movie “Theri” in which the star had played a key role. Valli Kannu left a highly paid corporate job to pursue her dreams of enlightening children. She used the “Flip the Question” option to win a whopping Rs 12,50,000. With this winning amount, Valli can make her small dream of taking her children to USA for a vacation come true. She will further use this amount to pursue her passion in the field of childrens’ education.
Adding on, Audience were given the opportunity to win Daily prizes and a chance to be on the Hotseat by being a part of the interactive ‘Play Along’ on VOOT with Voot Jackpot question.
At the end of the show, the second contestant gets to play Kodeeswari with Radikaa by answering the Miss Minal question. Tune in to COLORS Tamil on Tuesday at 8:30 pm to watch another exciting episode of another dream being fulfilled.
