Chennai, 25 September 2025: Simple Energy, an automotive company headquartered in Bengaluru has launched its latest store in Chennai. Spanning 826 sq. ft., the Chennai store has been launched in partnership with SRI JAGANATH MOTORS. Designed with a modern layout, the store offers an immersive brand experience. It showcases Simple Energy’s complete range, including the Simple One Gen 1.5, Simple OneS and accessories. As part of the company’s expansion strategy, a fully equipped service centre has also been launched along with the store. Spread across 1,050 sq. ft., it is located within a 150 m radius of the store.
Speaking about the launch, Suhas Rajkumar, Founder & CEO of Simple Energy, said, “Tamil Nadu has played a pivotal role in Simple Energy’s growth. It provided us the ideal foundation for our vision to simplify mobility. After establishing our first manufacturing facility here, we now proudly operate seven stores across the state and are excited to open our eighth in Chennai. In the coming weeks, we’ll expand to Salem, Vellore, and Pondicherry, marking strategic network expansion across the state.”
Currently, Simple Energy operates 54 outlets across cities including Bengaluru, Goa, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Kochi, amongst others. The company is ramping up its pan-India expansion rapidly. In the coming months, Simple Energy will expand into Delhi, Bhopal, Patna, Ranchi, and Bhubaneshwar.
The Simple One Gen 1.5 is priced at INR 1,71,944 (ex-showroom, Chennai) and the Simple OneS is priced at INR 1,39,999 (ex-showroom, Chennai).
