FICCI FLO Chennai welcomes Young Icons Prasiddhi Singh & Kaamya Karthikeyan

2nd August 2025, Chennai, India – FICCI FLO Chennai is proud to host two extraordinary young leaders – Prasiddhi Singh and Kaamya Karthikeyan. This special session exemplifies FLO’s commitment to causes that demand sharp intellect and meaningful action.

At just 12, Prasiddhi has planted over 1.5 lakh trees, created fruit forests across India and represented the country at COP28 and COP29. She is the founder of the Prasiddhi Forest Foundation, working to restore ecosystems and promote environmental sustainability.

Kaamya, 17, recently became the youngest girl in the world to complete the Seven Summits, having scaled the highest peaks on all seven continents, including Mount Everest and Mount Vinson in Antarctica.

FLO Chennai, under Chairperson Niyati A. Mehta, now in its 32nd year with over 1260 members, is far more than a social platform, it is a think tank in motion. Through the “SPARKLE” values of Strength, Passion, Ambition, Resilience, Knowledge, Leadership and Excellence, the chapter channels its members’ intellect into initiatives spanning sustainability, community development, women’s skilling, health education, environment and livelihood programs, rural STEM outreach, and upcycling drives. It is a testament to its pragmatic and thoughtful leadership.

FLO Chennai invited Prasiddhi and Kaamya, because their achievements embody smart engagement with real-world challenges. Data‑driven environmental action, educational outreach and youth mobilisation through Prasiddhi’s forestry model.

And, meticulous planning and perseverance in Kaamya’s mountaineering journey, illustrating discipline and mental resilience.

Chairperson Niyati A. Mehta said,
“FLO Chennai remains a proactive organisation, this event reflects our unwavering commitment to meaningful conversations, youth leadership and real-world change. It reinforces our ethos, encouraging members to apply their energy for social good, tackle challenges with intelligence and lead initiatives that truly matter.”
