Chennai, 29th September 2025: The event was a dazzling convergence of Stars, Beauties, Influencers, and Media—turning Meenambakkam into the hottest spot in Tamil Nadu. Dr. Latha A krishna of Iris events says “History was created this year with the launch of the first edition of Iris Face of Tamil Nadu, alongside the 14th edition of the Iconic Iris Face of Chennai.”
There was excitement in the air as the contestants and guests including celebrities congregated to enjoy an evening of glitz and glamour. Over the years, Iris Face of Chennai has been one of the city’s most celebrated events, providing a unique platform for discovering talent, beauty and personality and paving the way for many aspiring stars in the fields of fashion, films, and media. There were competitions for young men and women aged between 18 -28 years and married women up to 50 years.
This year, extending the vision to the state level, auditions were held across Madurai, Trichy, Coimbatore and Chennai. Complete grooming services were provided by skilled and experienced beauticians from Naturals Academy. Mr Nawaz and Ms Suja Surya Nila of Tube Cast stressed the importance of spotting talent among the youth across the State. This resulted in initiating ‘Face of Tamil Nadu College Edition’, which was open exclusively to college students.
This year, the event saw the participation of the finalists including 18 men and 30 women, competing across five categories: Iris Face of Tamil Nadu – Miss, Mr & Mrs Categories and Iris Face of Tamil Nadu – College Edition Miss & Mr Categories. These finalists were carefully selected after a rigorous audition process that saw over 4000 participants. Following this, the finalists were put through a 3-day intensive residential training program, where they engaged in Ramp Walk & Choreography training, Fitness & adventure walk sessions, Self-grooming & Skin Care workshops, Personal Branding & Q&A Training, Talent Rounds. This was rounded off by Community Service activities.
The Grand Finale was held recently at Radisson Blu GRT, Chennai, where contestants showcased their talent, style, and confidence. The curtain rose with a thematic Fashion Show choreographed by Ms. Suja Suriya Nila (Winner of Face of Chennai 2015, Miss Madras, Ms. Karnataka International and Ms. India – SuperTalent). The Finalists presented an awe-inspiring spectacle, resplendent in costumes designed and styled by Ms. Usha of Shrikriti Studio, The Raymond’s Shop Adyar, Tata Taneira, Mr Vicky Kapoor (Stylist & Fashion Choreographer), Ms Vrunda Srinath (Fashion Designer, Stylist & Faculty) and Ms Jaya (Founder of Jalak Art Studio).
The event was well attended by celebrities and noted personalities from all walks of life. The panel of Judges included Dr. Andrea (MD of Luxury Derm), Ms. Namitha Marimuthu (CEO & Founder of Nami’s South Queen of India), Ms. Pavithra Laxmi (Actress & Model), and Mr. Ramesh Babu (Mr Universe 2025 Runner up). Special guests included renowned personalities such Mr Arun and Mr Arvind (Casting Directors & Reality show Organizers), Mr Anil Kothari (MD of Fine Shine Jewellery), Mr Nithin (Proprietor, Elements by ECR), Mr Mthew Varghese (Actor). Mr Babloo Prithveeraj (Actor) joined us as the Chief Guest for the evening.
A special highlight of the evening was the launch of the IRIS Calendar Cover 2026 by Mr. P.C Sreeram (Cinematographer and Director), an exclusive creative showcase designed in collaboration with leading costume designers, stylists, models and photographers who worked tirelessly to bring it to life.
Another milestone moment was when the official website of Tube Cast was launched by Mr. Premji (Actor and Music Composer) Mr. Nawaz- Founder and Co- Founder Ms Suja Suriya Nila of Tube Cast were delighted in opening a new chapter for the brand in the digital and entertainment space.
The evening featured a spectacular live performance by AD and the Band, during which the finalists walked the ramp, creating an electrifying blend of music and fashion.
The winners were crowned by Mr. C.K. Kumaravel of Naturals, India’s No. 1 Salon and the other celebrity invitees of the evening.
