India is a land of festivals and to celebrate the diverse festive spirit of our beloved motherland, stupendous students of Rishs International School, celebrated their 4th Annual Day Celebration, ‘The Performante Mahotsav 2020’ on 5th February, 2020.
Rishs was honored by the gracious presence of Thiru. Dr.C. Sylendra Babu. I.P.S Director General of Police, Railway, TamilNadu as he presided the occasion as the Chief Guest. Along with Thiru.S.Manoharan, Managing Director, Muragan ldli, as the Guest of honour. Felicitation of the Chief Guest was done by Thiru. N Sakthivelu Founder and Chairman, Rishs International School and Tmt. Balambika Sakthivelu Director, Rishs International School. Annual report and welcome address was presented by the Principal Tmt. Brinda T
The story goes back to the times when Chinese Buddhist monk Hsuan Tsang came to India and met notorious Narad who takes him on a voyage across the country and witnesses diverse festivals of India. The function unfurled with an auspicious invocation dance to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha.
The program included diverse dance performances depicting the culture and flavour of different regions.
Dances associated with Deity like Ganesha. Durga, Diwali.
Harvest celebration like Lohri, Bihu, Pongal, Onam
Animal Gods- Ganesh, Camel.
The electrifying school band that mesmerized the gathering with their rocking performance.
The event also comprised of English Skit and Tamil Drama where the artistic student actors left the audience flabbergasted with their dramatic acting performances.
And cherry on the top the entire spectacle was the Grand Finale where the school campus echoed with thunderOus applause at the 4th Annual day of Rishs International School.
The vote of thanks was presented by vivacious Vice Principal Tmt. Supriya Johnson. A date etched in the memory of each and every spectator. The triumph was possible by the relentless efforts of teachers, Vice Principal and Principal, kudos to team Rishs.
