With blood donations becoming extremely scarce during this Pandemic, blood banks are facing a huge shortage.Considering this urgent demand for blood units, D.A.V Prashasti – a unit of DAV Group of Schools, Chennai in collaboration with the Rotary Central TTK VHS Blood Bankhas been organizing a series of blood donation camps on all Sundays at its various branches.
Four camps have already been successfully completed at DAV Boys and Girls Gopalapuram, DAV Gill Nagar & DAV Boys Mogappair Schools.
The next camp will be conducted at DAV Girls Mogappair campus on Sunday 27.12.2020.It is being jointly organised by D.A.V Girls Mogappair and D.A.V Matriculation Mogappair Schools.
The public are kindly requested to participate in this initiative.Anyone who is 18-60 years old, weighing over 50 kg and has not donated blood during the last three months, can register for these camps.
