Inaugurated in January 1961, Shanti Theatre was built by G. Umapathy and D. Shanmuga Raja, and later bought by actor Sivaji Ganesan, and has been owned by his family ever since. In the mid-2000s, Shanti Theatre witnessed an unprecedented record 890-day run of Sivaji Productions’ blockbuster movie, ‘Chandramukhi’.
Akshaya Pvt Ltd. has also announced that it will be taking care of the general maintenance of Akshaya Shanti which includes round-the-clock security, maintenance and upkeep of common areas, operation and maintenance of elevators, water supply and backup power among others.
Akshaya will be offering 24 office spaces starting from 2725 sq. ft onwards at Akshaya Shanti. 6 floor plates starting from 12886 sq. ft are also available for lease or sale. Booking for office spaces at Akshaya Shanti will commence from 9th March 2020.
